This is the season to fall in love with action animes all over again. Yes, the newest seasons of many of our favourite action animes are either already available or are about to hit streaming platforms, and we cannot get enough of all the goodies. Be it Netflix, Crunchyroll, Hulu, or Funimation, there is something available for everyone. Let’s together countdown to the most awaited anime we cannot wait to sink our teeth into.  

5. TOKYO REVENGERS, SEASON 3

Based on a popular Japanese manga, Tokyo Revengers has won over anime fans worldwide. It tells the story of Takemichi Hanagaki, who unexpectedly travels back in time and aims to change the past to prevent a disaster. Takemichi had a dull adult life, but everything changes when he learns about the terrible murders of his school sweetheart, Hinata Tachibana, and her brother, Naoto, by the Tokyo Manji Gang. This tragedy triggers his newfound ability to time travel, usually during dangerous or stressful moments. Recognizing the unique circumstances, Takemichi alters history and saves Hinata and Naoto from their tragic fate.

The third season of the Tokyo Revengers will hit Hulu and Disney+Hotstar on October 11, 2023.

4. SPY X FAMILY, SEASON 2

Spy x Family is the story of the escapades of a very un-ordinary family attempting to blend in and espionage in a rival country. Spy x Family follows Twilight, a Westalian secret agent who assumes the identity of Loid Forger, marries Yor and adopts Anya to form a pretend family. His plan involves enrolling Anya at Eden Academy, where children of that country’s leaders also attend school. Unbeknownst to Twilight, Yor is a skilled assassin, and Anya possesses telepathic abilities and a penchant for trouble. Twilight's main task is to keep Anya from getting Tonitrus bolts in school, which could result in her expulsion.

The highly rated two seasons of Spy x Family are already available for streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix. 

3. BLEACH: THOUSAND-YEAR BLOOD WAR - THE SEPARATION

One of the big three Japanese anime, the latest season of Bleach has taken the world by storm.

Bleach is the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student who has to fulfill his responsibilities after unintentionally becoming a Soul Reaper, also called the Shinigami. The Shinigami are responsible for guiding the lost souls after death to their afterlife. They are also tasked with keeping the lid on the Hollow activities in their areas, which are the malevolent and corrupted souls. Along with his trusty group of friends, who also have their signature spiritual powers, he enters a previously unknown world to save his town from the Hollows. He ultimately takes on even more daunting challenges that affect the whole world. 

The latest story arc of Bleach has taken the whole story to an unprecedented level of awesomeness.

The season follows the events and aftermath of a sudden strike from Quincy King Yhwach's forces on the very heart of the Soul Society. The Reapers of the Soul Society regather and grieve their lost comrades. Numerous surviving captains undergo rigorous training to confront their foes without relying on their ultimate technique, the Bankai. Ichigo Kurosaki, now a pivotal figure among the Shinigamis, faces a demanding training regimen to vanquish Yhwach and protect his comrades, pushing his physical and mental limits. Meanwhile, Yhwach secures an advantage by enlisting Uryuu Ishida, Ichigo's close friend and rival. Yhwach persists in his onslaught against the weakened Soul Society, even as Ichigo seeks to acquire new powers and the captains fight fiercely for their survival.

2. DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA SWORDSMITH VILLAGE ARC

The Demon Slayer follows Tanjiro Kamado, a compassionate boy in a rural Japanese family striving to make ends meet. Their lives are tragic when Tanjiro finds his family slaughtered by mountain demons and his sister transformed into demons. To seek vengeance and restore his sister to humanity, he embarks on a dangerous path to become a demon slayer.

The latest season of The Demon Slayer is an adaptation of the Swordsmith Village Arc. Now, on a dangerous quest, Tanjiro arrives at the Swordsmith Village. Here, he meets two skilled Hashira warriors, MuichiroTokito, known as the Mist Hashira, and MitsuriKanroji, the Love Hashira. They are the elite swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps. As the demons' ominous presence looms, a fresh battle for Tanjiro and his companions awaits. 

The new episodes of Demon Slayer are available on Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Hulu.  

1.  ATTACK ON TITAN FINAL SEASON THE FINAL CHAPTERS

Attack on Titan takes place in an imaginary world where humanity resides within massive walled cities to safeguard themselves from flesh-devouring giants that roam beyond. Eren Yeager and his childhood companions, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert, join the fight against these monstrous creatures by enlisting in the Survey Corps, an elite military unit. The Survey Corps combats the Titans and uncovers the truth about their world. However, as the series unfolds, we and the protagonists learn that nothing is as it seems in their little world. Friendships and loyalties change as the convoluted politics and events of the past are unveiled.

In the new season of Attack on Titan, the world's future is at stake as Eren, with unwavering resolve, commands a mighty army of Titans to confront the threat to Eldia. His former friends and foes must unite to stop him. The big question is, can they succeed?

We have all been waiting for the literal battle of the TITANS with the final chapters of Attack on Titan. The epic journey of the most beloved/hated anti-hero of our time, Eren Yeager, is nearing its end. We have been waiting for the bitter-sweet conclusion to this battle of titans to begin forever. But in classic AOT fashion, it was a long time coming.
