Deze versie 2 van Zoro's Sandai Kitetsu is voorzien van een geheel nieuw lemmet, een die er precies uitziet als in de anime/manga.

De Sandai Kitetsu is een van de Wazamono zwaarden, een "scherp zwaard". Net als al zijn voorgangers Kitetsu-zwaarden, zou ook dit zwaard vervloekt zijn.

Zoro raapte het zwaard op uit een vat goedkope katana's in een winkel in Loguetown nadat hij de kwaliteit ervan had ontdekt; Tashigi herkent het zwaard later uit een catalogus. Toen de eigenaar het voor het eerst zag, was hij niet van plan om het te verkopen aan Zoro en sprak over de vloek. Zoro hield van het idee en besloot zijn geluk te toetsen aan de vloek. Hij gooide het in de lucht en stak zijn arm uit, bereid om zijn arm te verliezen. Zoro's geluk kreeg de bovenhand en het mes cirkelde netjes om zijn arm. De winkeleigenaar gaf Zoro zowel Sandai Kitetsu als Yubashiri voor zijn vaardigheid en geluk.

De schede alleen al is een lust voor het oog. Deze is gemaakt van rosewood en heeft een rode kleur met zwarte ringen. Het midden van de schede is versierd met aluminium beslag en een nylon wikkel over een zwarte roggehuid. Dus het heeft een handvat in het midden van de schede, wat het openen van het zwaard een stuk makkelijker en veiliger maakt. De guard is geheel van staal met een gouden kleur. Het lemmet is een handgemaakt en van koolstofstaal. Het handvat is rood nylon gewikkeld over een zwarte roggenhuid. Het heeft zelfs de draaibare haak aan het einde, net als het origineel.
